The Canon RF 16mm f2.8STM comes a sleek wide-angle prime lens with a compact and lightweight design. The lens is designed for interior photography as well  as architectural subjects. Its lightweight design and broad field of view makes it well suited for vlogging as well as content creation. The Canon RF 16mm easily sports a close 5.1" minimum focusing distance especially for close-up shoots and also has an STM AF motor for quiet, and smooth use.

In order to minimize flare and ghosting, the lens has a super spectra coating which helps improve contrast as well as color fidelity especially when working under strong lighting conditions.

The RF 16mm is especially designed for use with the Canon RF-mount mirrorless cameras due to its RF-mount.

The lens also has a one aspherical element which helps control distortion as well as a sharpness.
