Overview

The Canon EF-S 18–55mm f/4–5.6 IS STM Lens is a versatile standard zoom lens that is lightweight, compact and quiet in operation. Its small size lets it fit just about anywhere, making it a great lens to anywhere. The lead screw-type stepping motor (STM) helps to ensure smooth autofocus and near-silent operation while advanced image stabilization can result in sharper photos with minimal blur, even in low light.

Note: Based on CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association) standards. Testing performed using the EOS 7D Mark II digital SLR camera at a focal length of 55mm, 35mm-equivalent 88mm. The number of stops may vary based on the camera model used.
