Overview of the SB-5000 Nikon Speedlight

The SB-5000 AF Speedlight is an on-camera and off-camera lighting system from Nikon. This flash is equipped with a cooling system thus enabling it to produce up to 100 consecutive full-power flashes. It also has a powerful guide number of 113' at ISO 100 and 35mm and can be controlled via radio system.

SB-5000 AF is fully compatible with Nikon's i-TTL automatic exposure system found in a majority of their cameras for fast, accurate operation. For full control of this powerful speedlight via radio control, one needs the use of the WR-A10 Wireless Remote Adapter and WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller with a compatible camera. Thus, you are able to control up to six groups of flashes from up to 30m away. Additionally, one can pair the SB-5000 with their existing optically-triggered units for an all-round lighting system.
