Overview

The Yongnuo YN85mm is a short-telephoto prime lens that is designed mostly for taking portraits with Canon EF-mount cameras. The lens' long focal length is paired with a bright aperture (f/1.8) for quality work in low-light and enables it to afford greater control over depth of field for selective focus control. An AF/MF switch on the lens barrel permits quick switching between focusing methods, and the lens can focus as closely as 2.8' to suit photographing close-up subjects. In addition, its body is designed with gold-plated contacts that enable working with all exposure modes as well as transferring lens information to the Exif data.

• Designed for full-frame format Canon EF-mount cameras, however this lens can also be used with APS-C models where it will provide a 136mm equivalent focal length.
