The Sony Lens comes with an XD Linear Motor system which use four separate motors which come with an internal focusing design giving you a fast and silent and clear autofocus.

Its Linear Response has a manual focus control offering a natural handling as well as an AF/MF switch.

To make it dust and moisture proof, the lens has a flourine coating. It aslo makes it easy to clean fingerprints as well.

Its petal-shaped lens hoold helps block out stray light as well as protecting the lens from phyical damage.
