Overview of the SmallRig 4183B Camera Cage Kit with V-Lock Battery Plate and Top Handle for Sony FX30/FX3

The SmallRig 4183B Camera Cage Kit with V-Lock Battery Plate and Top Handle for Sony FX30/FX3 is an all-in-one professional rigging solution designed to enhance the ergonomics, power management, and accessory mounting capabilities of your cinema camera.This modular setup bridges the gap between a compact mirrorless form factor and a fully production-ready cinema rig.The 4183B version of the cage features an HDMI cable clamp constructed of PC and fiber for a lighter form factor. The camera mounts onto the cage using 1/4"-20 screws on the bottom and the side to prevent twisting, and rubber padding on the base protects the camera.

In addition to a shoe mount, a removable NATO rail, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage features ARRI-style accessory mounts for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. The cage also features an integrated Arca-style base that allows you to use standard Arca-style tripod heads and gimbal mounts. There are strap slots on either side of the cage to add a camera strap. A built-in screwdriver on the bottom allows you to secure the camera screws.

The included NATO rail must be removed for use with the original Sony XLR handle.

The SmallRig Compact V-Mount Battery Mounting System allows you to mount your compatible camera and attach a power supply of your choice to your camera rig or tripod. Included in this system with a load capacity of up to 5kg you will find a V-mount battery plate, an Arca-Swiss Quick-release plate, along with a V-mount plate for extending your power options.

The SmallRig NATO Top Handle Lite is a cheese-style handle that easily mounts onto a NATO rail. The SmallRig NATO Top Handle Lite features the ability to easily slide side to side to assist in balancing your camera rig. This handle incorporates five shoe mounts on the front, back, and sides, as well as multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI-style anti-twist threads.
