Overview

This 150-600mm Sigma Contemporary lens for use with EF-Mount full-frame format canon cameras is a telephoto zoom lens that is quite sophisticated. With three SLD elements and one FLD element, this lens can reduce chromatic aberations and color fringing throughout the zoom range. This lens also has a Super Multi-Coating that helps to suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions.

The optical design features a Hyper Sonic Motor for fast and quiet autofocus performance as well as full-time manual focus override. Also featured is an Optical Stabilizer that helps to minimize camera shake appearances for sharper handheld shooting. Finally, due to the physical size of this lens, a removable and rotating tripod collar is aid ease of use with a monopod or tripod.
