The amaran Ray 120c RGB LED Monolight is a compact yet powerful 120W full-color LED designed for creators who need high output in a slim, lightweight form. Measuring just 2 inches thick and weighing 1.3 lb, it delivers up to 6850 lux at 3.3’ (3200K) and produces 8719 lumens, making it brighter than the amaran 150c while remaining significantly smaller. Its ultra-compact body makes it ideal for tight spaces, travel kits, and mobile productions.

Powered by amaran’s OmniColor engine, the Ray 120c offers a wide 2300–10,000K color temperature range, expandable to 1800–20,000K in CCT+ mode, along with full 360° color control in HSI and RGB modes. With high CRI and TLCI ratings of 95, it delivers accurate skin tones and consistent color performance for video and photography. Users can also access 12 built-in lighting effects for creative scenes. Control is intuitive via the onboard TFT screen and FlowTurn knob, with generous 262.5' (80m) wireless Bluetooth app control and NFC pairing for quick setup. The fixture supports multiple power options, including AC, USB-C PD, DC input, and amaran Ace E-Lock batteries for portable use. Featuring an IP54-rated design, quiet 28 dBA fan cooling, and a full-size Bowens mount for modifier compatibility, the Ray 120c is a versatile, travel-ready lighting solution.

In addition to the Bowens mount, the fixture includes a 1/4”-20 threaded mounting point, enabling attachment to a variety of support gear such as light stands, clamps, arms, and tripods. It also comes with an Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip, allowing fast mounting onto standard baby pin light stands or for handheld operation. The silicone strap on the grip helps secure external battery packs for mobile setups.

Because it supports AC power, USB-C PD, DC input, and amaran Ace E-Lock batteries, the Ray 120c is compatible with multiple power solutions—whether you’re in a studio, on location, or running a lightweight travel rig.
