Speedlite Highlights
Wireless multiple flash shooting
The MK-950II is an advanced speedlite compared to Meike's earlier versions such as the Meike MK950. The MK950 II supports the wireless remote slave function with other flashguns that are compatible with Canon cameras and has both TTL and strobe light functions.
TTL mode
Set the shooting mode as M, AV, or TV and the camera controls the MK950II's flash output level by measuring the light reflected from the subject when the MK950II fires a series of monitor pre-flashes.
Manual flash mode
By setting the aperture and the flash output level, you can manually set the exposure and the distance to the subject.
Memory function
This speedlite has memory function, meaning that it will recover the last mode and setting when it's turned on again.
Stroboflash mode
Stroblflash is a kind of model that can analyse the motion of a subject. Under the stroboflash mode, the flash can photo a series of moving subjects for many photos. You can however, set the flash rate, flash times and flash input.
S1/S2 mode
The speedlite is used as an off-camera auxiliary to create various lighting effects. The S1 mode is suitable for manual flash environment while the S2 mode is suitable for TTL flash environment. Under these two modes, the adjustment of the output brightness of the speedlite is as the M mode.
Sleep mode
The flash will get into sleep mode if it doesn't have any operation in 30 seconds. It can be woken up via any button.
ISO display
When you half-press your camera's shutter release button, the flash screen will hint "ISO-A" when the camera is set as "auto ISO sensitivity control" on.
High speed sync
The flash LCD will display "H" when the camera is set to "auto FP" on (Pay attention: software support shutter release 1/320 sync).
Bounce flash
By tilting or rotating the flash head, you can bounce the light off a ceiling, or on a wall to make use of reflected light.
Close-up flash photography
Close up flash photography can be achieved with use of the built-in wide-flash adapter and the flash head titled down.
Flash output level compensation/exposure compensation
Flash output level compensation is performed by modifying the flash output level for the flash illuminated subject only. Exposure compensation is performed by intentionally modifying the correct exposure o modify both the subject and background exposure.
