Overview
The Sigma 50mm lens is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras but it can also be used on APS-C models equivalent giving you an equivalent of 75mm focal length. It has a Rounded 11-blade diaphragm which allows you to achieve a smooth and pleasing bokeh.The lens is built with a brass bayonet mount protecting it from dust as well as splashes of of water.
The lens incorporates 14 elements in 11 groups, with 3 aspherical lenses and 1 SLD glass element.
It has a bright aperture of f/1.4 giving you enough control over a huge depth of field which is conducive especially under low-light.
The lens is equipped with a focus mode switch,an aperture ring lock switch which helps avoid unnecessary switching of the lens. You can also assign any function from your camera via the AFL button.
