Overview

This 40" white bounce umbrella box from Godox is a light modifier that is well suited for portrait shots and product photography. It is black on the outside and white on the inside with a white diffuser fabric on the front. It combines the flattering light of a softbox with the ease of assembling/disassembling of an umbrella. Just like with a softbox, the interior is hidden so as not to reflect the spokes and support system.

It provides natural looking round catchlights in your subject's eyes. It should be used up close where it exhibits a quality of light somewhere between a beauty dish and a standard softbox.
