Overview of the Sennheiser MKE 400 Shotgun

This second gen. Sennheiser MKE 400 is a directional shotgun microphone for improved sound quality to your camera as well as smartphone shoots. Compact and lightweight in build, the MKE 400 can be used in a wide variety of environments including noisy surroundings as it has a built-in wind protection sytem. Additionally, it has a 3-stage gain control and a low-cut filter so you can optimize sound on the mic as you monitor your settings via a headphone port on the side.

For gadget compatibilty the MKE 400 includes A 3.5mm TRS and 3.5mm TRRS cable for use with a camera and smartphone respectively. Slip on the furry windshield included over the mic for increased protection from wind noise when shooting outdoors.
