Overview of the Sennheiser EW 100 G4-ME 2-II Microphone System

The Sennheiser EW 100 G4-ME2 is a rackmount wireless lavalier microphone system for high-quality, reliable audio to presenters, clergy, lecturers, and performers. The package consists of, one; a receiver in a fully-metallic housing. The receiver has an auto-scan function that searches a wide 42 MHz UHF tuning range with 1680 selectable frequencies available, seeking out a clean, interference-free channel for your audio transmission. The second part in this product collection is the ME 2-II omnidirectional lavalier microphone. It is connected to the bodypack transmitter that provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a fixed 30mW RF power output and a transmission range up to 100m.

This mic system can allow for the smooth operation of up to 12 wireless microphones in the same space, with the receivers linked together for fast, multi-channel frequency setup. Finally, Sennheiser EW 100 G4-ME2 is also backward-compatible with previous evolution systems. Meaning that you can use bodypack transmitters, receivers, handheld and plug-on transmitters from the G1/G2/G3/G4 series. It is also compatible with EW 300/500 systems.
