Overview

The Tokina atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF lens is a F-mount lens for use with Nikon cameras. It is an ultra-wide zoom lens that is well-suited for architecture, landscape, and interior shooting. It's main characteristic is the bright f/2.8 constant maximum aperture that provides consistent brightness throughout the lens' zoom range. This affords the user comfortability in working in various lighting conditions. The lens' optical design is made up of a series of aspherical and low dispersion elements, which suppress a variety of aberrations for improved sharpness and clarity.

Ghosting and flares are resisted as a result of the individual elements being multi-coated. This provides greater contrast and color accuracy when working in backlit and bright conditions.
