Overview of the DJI OM 5

The DJI OM 5 is an improved version of its predecessor the OM 4, also from DJI. It comes as a portable palm-sized gimbal which is easier to balance and has a built-in extension rod with an additional 8.5" to help you with more creative shots as well as take group selfies with your friends. It has multiple shooting modes such as portrait, underslung, landscape, panorama etc that allow you to explore your creative side.

Much like it's predecessor the OM 4, this smartphone gimbal has a magnetic phone holder as well as a smartphone magnetic ring which makes mounting and unmounting very easy. It allows you to easily shoot like a pro as well. It has  the ActiveTrack 4.0 as an added feature which allows your gimbal to automatically track you or your subject without making any manual selections. With the Shotguides, the OM 5 automatically recognizes your environment and gives you recommendations on corresponding shot sequences. Its a 3-Axis Gimbal stabilizer thus guarantees you shaky free videos. The OM 5 has a built-in battery with a run-time of 6.4 hours and a charging time of 1.5 hrs. The bottom part of the gimbal feartures a 1/4"-20 mounting thread through which you can mount a included grip tripod or have it on a regular camera tripod. Finally, this package includes a storage pouch for the gimbal as well as a wrist strap to hold the gimbal with.
