Overview

DJI RS 2 is a predecessor and redesign of the Ronin-S camera gimbal also from DJI. It can accomodate a payload of up to 10 lb and is made up of monocoque carbon fiber axis arms and a shorter grip handle with a smaller battery cartridge, thus making it about 25% lighter than it's predecessor as well as being more compact. It's motors are also more powerful (20% more than the Ronin S's). This gimbal has maintained it's predecessor's 12-hour runtime while it's motors are more powerful (20% more) thus this gimbal is able to carry such heavy cameras as the Canon 1D X Mark III, Alexa Mini LF, BPMCC 6K and Sony a7S III.

Note:

1. You are advised to only use the included 24W USB charger to recharge your gimbal and well as the dedicated Ronin quick release plates when mounting your camera onto the gimbal.
