Overview of the Aputure Quickball Lantern Softbox

The Lantern Softbox from Aputure is a light modifier to help you get soft light. It is made in a soft ball design or what is often known as a "china ball" whereby a large ball is used to come up with nice soft light. This unit has a Bowens Mount attachment for use with Aputure lights such as the 300D, 120D and 600X units as well as any other brand of light with a Bowens Mount compatibility. It is ideal for use overhead or to raise the ambient illumination level.

This particular lantern is 65cm (2.2') in diameter and is built with strong durble materials to allow for quality service overtime. Setting it up for use should not take more than a few seconds as the rods in the body are easily bendable.

With an element of art control in your lighting, the Aputure Lantern comes with a 4-sections skirt set for use in controlling the 270° beam spread as one would wish. This addition utilizes a hook and loop design for one to attach the 4 sections in any position. You can roll the skirt up or down to flag off unwanted light.
