Overview 

The Audio-Technica ATH-M40X headphones are a great option for critical mixing and tracking. It is equipped with 40mm neodymium drivers to provide a wide, flat frequency range ideal for making sound decisions.

It comes with one coiled and straight cable for optimal operation in the studio or on the go. With a 3.5mm mini plug on each cable, you are able to use the headphones with mobile devices and computer soundcards. Also, a 1/4" screw-on adapter is included for easy hookup to audio interfaces, mixers, and stereo receivers and carrying pouch is supplied with the ATH-M40x for convenient storage and transport of the headphones.

Drivers

The dymanic drivers of these headphones features rare earth (neodymium) magnets and CCAW (copper-clad aluminum wire) voice coils for high-quality sound reproduction.

Over-Ear, Sound-Isolating Design

90° Swiveling Earcups and Foldable Design

The earcups ensures a great fit and allows effortless one-ear monitoring.Also, its foldable design saves space during storage.

Two Detachable Single-Sided Cables

It has a detachable cable attached on the left side that enables swapping making it easier to distinguish the different sides of the headphone. Two cables are included—a 3.9 to 9.8' coiled cable and a 9.8' straight cable.

3.5mm Plug and 1/4" Screw-On Adapter

The cable attached has a 3.5mm TRS jack to fit onto mobile devices, MP3 players, and computer headphone jacks. Also, 1/4" snap-on adapter is included in the package incase of connection with audio interfaces, mixers, and dedicated headphone amplifiers.
