Overview

The Godox AD1200Pro is a battery powered flash system that is TTL enabled with a built-in 2.4 GHz wireless X system and 1200Ws of power. It is the most powerful strobe by Godox, yet. It is also known as Flashpoint XPLOR 1200 Pro R2. The flash kit is made up 1200W flash head and a rechargeable, also interchangeable, 5.2Ah 36v Lithium energy pack. The battery pack can be recharged fully in two hours, delivering between 480 and 500 500 full-power flashes per charge. An optional AC power adapter provides for a mains power option when operating the flash. Power adjustments are from 1/1 to 1/256 in 0.1-stop increments for 9 steps.

The high-speed sync mode works with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s with flash durations from 1/220 to 1/10,860 seconds. The unit is fan-cooled to prevent overheating during long shoots. Its Stable Color Temperature mode tightly controls color to keep temperature changes within ±75K across the entire power range. n Stroboscopic Mode it's capable of 100 continuous pops at 1/16 power output. The modeling LED lamp outputs 40W of light and features three selectable modes. Finally, it is compatible with Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Sony, Panasonic, Pentax and Olympus camera systems.
